CHRISTMAS APPEAL
The Church Council decided at its meeting to encourage everyone not to send Christmas Cards to each other, instead to sign a common card and place a donation at least equivalent to the cost of sending cards.  The donation will be going to support the work of A Rocha UK.

LATER THIS MONTH ANDREW IS GOING WITH HIS SCHOOL TO GAMBIA
This is in conjunction with project Gambia, which is a poverty awareness and action programme.  Andrew is looking for some financial support for the project which will involve poverty relief particularly in schools in Gambia. Our DCC have agreed to support him and if you would like to contribute then please use the envelopes marked Andrew for your donation.

WORSHIP AUDIT
Thank you for the completed audit forms.  We have received some 24 responses, which represent both sexes, and a spread of ages with a large cluster of responses from those aged 31-40.  The responses are very encouraging.  Whilst most people have scored our worship as good or excellent what has come through in the comments is the diversity in preference. There is a wide range with some desiring more contemporary music and informal spontaneous worship style and others preferring more traditional hymns; some preferring children to either be silent or services children free, whilst others would prefer more action based child friendly songs and more engagement with children, some would like communion more frequently some are not comfortable in communion. Yet despite this polarity most have been generally contented with our current pattern. The DCC will be looking at these responses in more detail in subsequent meetings.

START COURSE
Good News Down Your Street.  A short course for those who would like to know what the Christian faith is about, can be run in your home.

MEN'S GROUP
A new study group for men.  The group has been looking at work and the issues faced in the work place from a Christian perspective.
